for the general and responsible handling of our magnets
We kindly ask you to read these instructions before using the magnets or to forward them to all customers and other people who are in contact with our magnets.
Swallowing
Magnets might be swallowed and this could lead to suffocation. Magnets are not toys! Make sure that the magnets don't get into children's hands.
Cardiac pacemaker
Magnets might influence the performance of cardiac pacemakers and implanted defibrillators.
Magnetic field
Magnets might influence the performance of cardiac pacemakers and implanted defibrillators. They might damage TV sets and laptops, computer mainboards, credit cards and debit cards, data storage devices, mechanic clocks, hearing aids, loudspeakers and mobile phones and the like. Keep magnets away from all devices and items that might be damaged by strong magnetic fields.
Air freight
Magnetic fields of magnets that are not packed appropriately can influence the navigation systems of airplanes. In the worst case this could lead to an accident. Send magnets via air freight only in packaging with sufficient magnetic shielding. Further information from IATA (International Air Transport Association).
Magnetic fields of magnets that are not packed appropriately can cause disfunction of sorting devices and also damage sensitive goods in other parcels. Use an amply sized box and place the magnets in the middle of it by means of padding material. Arrange the magnets in the box in a way that the magnetic fields neutralize each other. If necessary, use sheet iron to shield the magnetic field.
General note: Please do not use the magnets on hot surfaces, because the needle felting is not fireproof.
